1. Overview

Complete Carat is a custom jewelry studio specializing in bespoke engagement rings, wedding bands, and fine jewelry. All pieces are made to order and involve a collaborative design process. By purchasing from our site, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Custom Orders

  • All jewelry is custom-made to client specifications.

  • Production begins only after final design approval and deposit payment (as agreed).

  • Any modifications after design approval may incur additional costs or affect delivery timelines.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring accuracy in ring sizes, design preferences, and personalization details.

3. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit is required to begin CAD renderings or stone sourcing.

  • Final balance must be paid in full before shipment.

  • We accept major credit cards, ACH bank transfers, and other approved methods.

4. Production Timeline

  • Average production time is 2–4 weeks after final design approval.

  • Delays may occur due to stone sourcing, client revisions, or holidays. We will communicate any changes promptly.

5. Returns & Exchanges

  • Return period for custom engagement jewelry is 10 days while ready to wear is 7 days from delivery.

  • In the rare event of a defect, we will assess and repair the item at no cost within 30 days of delivery. After that, repair fees may apply.

6. Shipping & Insurance

  • We offer insured shipping through trusted carriers (FedEx, UPS).

  • Once an order is marked as delivered, risk of loss transfers to the customer.

  • Signature may be required upon delivery.

7. Repairs & Resizing

  • One complimentary resizing is offered within 60 days of delivery, unless otherwise noted.

  • Shipping costs for resizing or repairs are the client’s responsibility unless due to manufacturing fault.

8. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, sketches, CAD renderings, and product images remain the intellectual property of Complete Carat unless otherwise agreed.

  • Clients may not reproduce or use any content from our website or design process without written consent.

9. Website Use

  • By using our website, you agree not to engage in any unlawful activity, attempt to access unauthorized areas, or interfere with our website’s functionality.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

10. Privacy Policy

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from purchases or use of this website will be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal action must be brought in courts located in Wayne County, Michigan.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website after changes constitutes acceptance.
